Soda blast

BICARjet® is a synergy between MAINECO, an Italian entrepreneurial and dynamic company, located in Padova (North East of Italy) and Solvay, a chemical-pharmaceutical multinational group present in about 50 countries.

We have acquired a specific know-how and competencies in an innovative and environmental-friendly technology for the soda blast of a wide range of surfaces.

Some advantages

Non-toxic and non-hazardous
Synthetic pure sodium bicarbonate is non-toxic (Food quality), non corrosive, non-flammable and non-pollutant. Besides, water nebulization strongly reduces dust. Because of these characteristics, the operator can work with lower protection, and therefore more comfortably.

The products

The BICARjet® cleaning system is an easy-to-use and versatile solution employing a SOBIJET® blasting machine (compressed air and/or water) and MELTRON®, a sodium bicarbonate based blast media.

Our Project Development team, combining competencies and experiences in mechanics, hydraulics and thermodynamics, has acquired a valuable knowledge on surface cleaning. Moreover, we are the owner of different patented solutions, like for instance, our HPV system, which allows the use of a hopper instead of a high pressure tank.

On that basis, we have designed and developed a wide range of SOBIJET® equipments, including delivery units and work cabins of different dimensions. They are also keen to design and build automatic cleaning installations, able to meet our customers’ specific requirements. The accurate attention to quality components and ergonomics assure easy and safe working conditions for the operator.

Training is provided.

The different grades of MELTRON® aim at treating all kind of surfaces and contaminants. The particular specifications of pure synthetic sodium bicarbonate based blast media have been studied to guarantee a high efficiency of our SOBIJET® equipments functioning.
